Biography

Tara Sarvela is a member of the Chemistry Staff for the Science Department. She has been teaching for 4 years in undergraduate teaching laboratories, focusing on general chemistry and inorganic chemistry. Tara is interested in the inquiry learning method of teaching and hopes to develop further this method of teaching into chemistry laboratory classes at TAMUQ. She teaches second semester freshman chemistry (CHEM 102) and will be teaching organic chemistry in the Fall 2008 (Chem 237).

Tara is currently assisting Dr. Dave Seapy in his research to develop molecular machines.
