INTEREST AREAS
Marvin W. Rowe, Professor of Chemistry at Texas A&M University, currently teaches at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious Nininger Meteorite Award for research excellence.

  • Dating ancient archaeological rock and cave paintings
  • Developing a technique to determine non-destructive radiocarbon dates on perishable organic archaeological artifacts
  • Developing at least two or three new instrumental experiments.
  • Setting up a plasma-chemical apparatus at Qatar so he can continue his radiocarbon research projects and incorporate undergraduate students
