INTEREST AREAS

Paul R. F. Schumacher earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Chicago in mathematics, computer science, and statistics in 1999. In 2009, he completed his Ph.D. in mathematics at Texas A&M. He currently serves as an senior assistant professor at Texas A&M Qatar in Doha, Qatar.Paul has been teaching or tutoring in various programs for over 15 years, including university students, gifted children, and corporate training of customer service and technical support representatives. While his primary focus is his teaching, his current research areas are parking functions and the Catalan numbers, as well as general investigations in other areas of combinatorics.
